Session Times & Fees From September 2025
Lunch Club Monday – Friday 12.00 – 1.00pm

Afternoons Monday – Friday 12.00 – 4.00pm

(You can collect your child from 2.45 if you have to get siblings from other settings – this does not affect session fees)
★ Minimum session attendance per week is 2 sessions.
★As of September 2025, 3 hour sessions will be charged at £26.00.
★ Invoices are issued at the beginning of each term and are due for payment upon receipt.
★ Please note that full fees are still payable when your child is off sick or on holiday during term-time.
★ Half a term’s notice or fees in lieu will be required for any change in sessions once allocated.
★ Children are entitled to 15 hours of early education funded by Hertfordshire County Council from the term after their 3rd birthday. We also accept 2 year old funded places at Children 1st which also apply from the term after a 2nd birthday. 2 year old funding is offered to people/families on a low income or who meet other certain criteria. Parents can make an application for 30 hours free childcare by creating a gateway account and completing the HMRC eligibility checker on the Childcare Choices website.

Payment Information
Invoices for fees are issued at the middle of each term. Fees can be paid as cheque made payable to Children 1st Preschool Nursery LTD, BACS – please see the Invoice for bank details. We also accept Childcare vouchers and are registered with the government’s tax free childcare scheme. Invoices are usually issued to cover a full term period (12 weeks). If you require monthly payments or a different payment schedule please speak to Mrs Donna Milton and she will arrange this for you. Please note that full fees are payable whether or not your child is off sick or on holiday. Any change in fees will be communicated with a minimum of half a term’s notice.
